Alejandra Lacure, Counselor, MA, LPCC

In my experience, people seek counseling because they feel stuck and overwhelmed by their experiences, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Old ways of coping aren’t working anymore, and our anxiety, fear, depression, self-loathing, anger, and emptiness seem to be taking control of our lives.

First and foremost, I believe that healing our deepest pain is possible as long as we are willing to do the hard work of facing ourselves and our pasts. I am here to support you in this so that you don’t have to do it alone. Secondly, I believe that we all have experienced hardship, hurt, and even trauma, and that these experiences play a big part in our current struggles. You are not a broken person to be fixed, rather a human that is in pain that deserves compassion and healing. I am here to meet you wherever you are at, and am here to act as an emotional anchor while you and I work together to help you find peace and wholeness.

I am experienced in working with young adult and adult women survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking, as well as women who struggle with self-loathing, self-doubt, struggles in their intimate relationships, anger, anxiety, panic, and depression.

I am proud of you for taking the first step to find help for yourself, and I’m excited and honored to be
given the opportunity to walk with you on your healing journey.
